Thank you, B-I!! ^^Originally posted by Yohji Yamamoto, on his second Paris showFrom the next collection it became a war. I didn't want a war but too much attack made me fight.' And you are a good fighter, I say, referring to his black belt in karate. 'I am,' he nods.

The ombre pieces are stunning. They look like a beautiful painting and they create such a pretty silhouette.
I'm not quite sure about all the sheer going on here. Perhaps it's the over saturation of sheer maxi skirts that has been plaguing the 'fashion' world lately. Even so it does fit nicely with the collection. It almost looks as if the models are floating down the runway in some photos.

Have to say I think it looks better in the still photos than in motion - the sheer fabrics plus ombre dyes (which are beautiful) plus tassels seems a little...much? Or a little too soft? That said, from the bust up, I think almost every look is fantastic (garment necklines, hats, hair, styling).
I love the hats, though it's a bit hard for me to tell how much structure they actually have - and they're certainly an interesting contrast to the incredibly feminine, flowing bottoms. I would have especially liked to see the wide-brims styled with some of the looks from the men's collection.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
This is the Ann Demeulemeester that I've been waiting for and that I respect so greatly! Just beautiful clothes that whisper attention, subtly allure. I love the new shapes (unlike the last few seasons where there were no real new shapes, just cut-outs/decorations of past styles).
There are definitely more depth to the collection, more study on proportions. And yet the clothes turn out easy and wearable (you just want to live in and with them), rather than the current fall collection, where it's bit too forced and imposed. The only thing is that all the tassels on the sleeve vents are bit too much for me, but I assume that they are detachable (and will be sold separately as accessories).
This is a triumph!
