Finally! Been waiting for that. I must confess it's far from what I expected to see from her, as I think quite a bit of it looks kinda futuristic, but I really do like it. The gradients are soooo beautiful. I just love how they are used on the last few outfits. Goddamn I will have to start saving now so I won't cry later on. At first I had mixed feelings but by the time I got to the end of runway photos - I'm definitely not dissapointed!

Always have been a great fan of Ann...
    BUT,
at one point you have to renew your style and yourself,
how many seasons it's about the same?
    Turn it on again!!!

I don't like a lot of this simply as a matter of personal taste - it's all technically good but the gradients and blues just don't speak to me. But some day, in some way or another, each of these calf length sweaters will be mine.

A bit surprised but very happy. I really like this cleaner more sterile direction that we saw from SS11. However I think this is a more elaborate version of that. SS11 was maybe too sterile at times with it's strict black and white theme while this expands the palet with more colors and thus creating a softer feeling.

Like Shucks said, sweaters seam especially nice. Specifically the very long turtle necks which look very warm and cosy.

In my opinion, the strongest collection of the season so far.

Agree, best collection I have seen. I love all the shapes and yes, it echoes SS11 in it's simplicity although I wouldn't see it as a natural progression from there. The gradients are lovely, but will have limited shelf life. Did I see front zip boots a la RO FW11? Really love most of this.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

I've always associated Ann's collections to be of the past, but this was Ann of the future.

The huge knits are incredible...but the random pops of color seemed inconsistent and unnecessary. Still, very wearable and beautiful stuff, and I like the more tailored and fitted approach. Much less "romantic" and flawy than usual.
i traded my LUC jeans + Julius belt + Neil Barrett jeans for a blamain biker jeans

I quite like the more minimalist styling and the cuts, but the prints at the beginning and the blue stuff are horrible imo. Also, I can't help but think of trends when I see everyone doing zipped boots after Rick. I thought Ann was more than that. Overall this collection is somewhat of a dissapointment for me.

Apart from the blue (Which is Haider Ackermann tacky), I really like a lot of this. Seems paired down, not as overstyled as usual. Particularly love the gradient pieces.

agreed, and I've never been a big fan of Ann

    ^^Same here.

I respect Ann and her designs, but only own a couple of pieces in my own personal collection.

With this season, I have to admit, there are at least 10 items in there that I love! I feel like this is a very modern feel, coming from her usual minimalist take.

I'm a fan of this F/W 2012. Great knits, love the gradient jackets and pants, and the boots with red tops.......sick!

thirded. and i have been an admirer of ann but rarely a consumer, because i fear i would have to make a major investment in order to make it work properly for me, since again i think ann goes best with more ann. but i am tempted. i am kinda feeling a change coming on for me.

the boots look cool. the quality seems to be there. the fabrics look very nice. and everything but the gradients (and electric blue obviously) has real staying power. its elegant, stylish, and maybe more subtle, or less overtly romantic/poetic/bard of the renaissance vibe thing that i used to get from ann, that i loved but would never wear. not sure if that makes sense but, well...
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective
