Best i've been would definately be Armin Van buuren's one last year in Vancouver. It was held in the newly built convention center. Real nice sound and light effect. Hot bitches everywhere as well. High as fuck.

Mozart's The Magic Flute is coming here in March. Will definatly go...alcohol-free

Australia's festivals are shite. Laneway is probably the best next to Meredith or splendour in the grass. But it also comes down to who you are and what you're into. There are too many rules and regulations here, and trying to plagiarise the effortless ideas from other places in the world.

On the other hand festivals in Europe like Bestival or the ones in Berlin are an experience one can't compare to IMO.

For those crazy ones out there, Burning Man festival would be the option. Just google it and you'll understand. On the to-do list before I die. The stories you hear are simply exquisite. At the end of the day, it comes down to Atmosphere vs Lineup with festivals. One aspect can be stronger than the other which determines how much better it may be.
