What I don't understand is why Alex won't just go back to that. This is his third eponymous collection and all three thus far have been utterly different. It's fine for a new designer to poke around to find his signature, but Plokhov is an experienced designer. At this point it looks like he's trying different things to see what sticks.

Ya. I really want to see him do futurist tailoring with angular lines not this stuff.

I have no idea why Barney's is choosing to style it so ridiculously/have it 6 sizes too big:

(Never mind, it's a slightly different jacket and the black wool appears to to be naturally cut that large. Do like the slimmer grey one, though).
