    Vienna

I haven't seen a thread on Vienna, so I'm starting one.
I'd very much appreciate if someone could give me a recommendation for a nice cafe here - a place with a decent espresso and a nice (suitable for reading) atmosphere during the day (preferably not too far from the city center).
    Thanks a lot in advance!

Lovely city, last time I was there was about 5 years ago. Plenty of cafes in and around the Innere Stadt. My favorite is Das Wortner. Not in the city center, but only a short tube ride away.

Vienna is amazing - I wish I was sitting outside of Cafe Sperl right now.

Check out the Loos American bar - beautiful architecture and good drinks. There are tons of recommendations for food in Vienna, but my favorites are Schilling in Neubau and Beim Czaak near the opera in the city center.

vienna has huge tradition of cafes, besides the ones mentioned there is the Hawelka and the Prückel, both in 1st district and well suited for reading... a more contemporary atmosphere and often nice people to meet you may find at cafe Europa (the one in the 7th district, Zollergasse). Museumsquartier also has a lot of nice cafes. be sure to check out the Loos American Bar though, it is tiny but beautiful.

kinda weird to say it's a great city without having been there yourself

anybody been to Wolfensson lately? I'm curious about what brands they carry at the moment, it's been a while since I've been there.

Go to Georg Materna, nice shoes and it's in a good area.

In Vienna I like to: drink coffee and maybe walk around. Very thrilling innit...

Still Open. Just went there few days ago

Plankengasse is the store where they got the most stuff for men. Kohlmarkt is more the women selection + on Kohlmarkt there is a Chegini Outlet too.
