Note that the final look is 100% the result of the workmanship ,not only the material.The person who will install the coating can make different patterns with the same materials . It needs fast moves while placing the cement.

You should ask directions from an architectural office .I'm sure you can find something .Paper on walls is used lately as well.Check Pietboon and NLXL,it's easier,more fun,will last forever,but it's pretty expensive.

I've actually been trying to search for cement-like coatings for years but haven't found anything to my liking here in northern Europe. I tried some sort of clay based effect paint/coating but it left this sort of sandy surface. textured multitoned paint looked kind of fake and very hard to get the right look. The closest thing I found was a company importing some Italian limestone or chalk based plasters, which I think looked pretty closed to the product used here. I'll probably give this a try on one of our walls soon. I think this is the same stuff they were selling, this is some random australian site that popped up in Google but the name is familiar.

Στον ίδιο χώρο υπάρχει και ένα γραφείο ,το οποίο σχεδίασα και κατά τύχη μου το προσέγγισαν και βγήκε σαν του Rick.Επίσης υπάρχει και μια μικρή βιβλιοθήκη .Αναμένω τις κουρτίνες και κάποιες μικροαλλάγες στους χώρους,οπότε πιστεύω περίπου ως το Δεκέμβρη να έχω προσθέσει και άλλες φωτογραφίες.

So, i designed a table last year as well ,that came out to look like Rick's a bit.That was a small success ,it suited well the room with the day bed next to it.More pics will be up when i'll receive the curtains and make some very small renovations,that'll be somewhere at the end of Autumn.

There's nothing more fun than designing your own appartment .I didn't have any architectural experience at all and started last year to rebuild from the start a 40year old appartment.It took me 3months to make it ,change everything from the beginning ,except the 40year old black flooring from marble. The result is pretty ok despite the pressure of time and the lack of experience.Details to come in a few months

Thank you.I'm already late ,so i uploaded some more pics of the day bed instead of the house (1st page).This week the curtains will arrive and i hope early on December a new bed will be soon installed on the 2nd room .Unfortunately there wasn't enough space for a rick inspired bed ,so all the pics will be up next month.
