weird because they have a few shops in NY:

I dunno, I'll be very busy in the next few weeks, but if you're dead set on this I suppose I could proxy.

You could also try shooting them an email here: http://www.americanvintage-store.com/fr/contactez-nous

Well in the case of the brand I mentionned, I far prefer these shirts to the equivalent by Rick or Haider. Rick's necklines aren't deep enough, and the shirts billow up to tent proportions in no time. As for Haider, the only shirt in a sheer jersey I have quickly turned into a holey rag barly fit to clean windows with. So I'll stick with the cheaper option in this case

Silent shirts are very good however, but they are not sheer, so it's not exactly the same

For cheap-y tshirts, I buy Muji's shrinkwrapped cubes. They're $13 and they last forever. They only show them just-unwrapped on their website, but in 2 or 3 washes they just look like normal tshirts. Cut slim enough that they can be worn as undershirts too. Japanese sizing though, so they're at least a size smaller than the NA norm.

i traded my LUC jeans + Julius belt + Neil Barrett jeans for a blamain biker jeans

Muji's amazing - I used to live in their organic cotton tank tops when I was still based out of London, UK.

Still waiting & hoping to see those pop up on the us store [or even the EU store, for that matter].

Also awesome are their socks, and their bowls, and all their home & kitchen wares.
