^ Wicked.
Rrose, o my... anything he puts out blows me away.
Yall remember when Olof Dreijer from The Knife was putting out techno tracks as Oni Ayhun few years back ? That side project seems to of died now, some great tracks came from it. http://www.discogs.com/artist/1140661-Oni-Ayhun
^ of course! i remember hearing this one being played at panorama bar not too long ago:
good stuff. also, i think i've already posted this guys boiler room set on here somewhere - insane:

Of course, good looking out.Soon as I saw Svreca I nodded my head. Anyone unfamiliar, look into the label http://www.discogs.com/label/78265-Semantica-Records
I discovered that label from the E.R.P releases from Gerard Hanson, also put out the masterpiece techno album as http://www.discogs.com/Convextion-Co...on/master/6164 highly recommended if ya never heard his work before.
Been Playing Electronic Explorations - 294 while editing this post, so into it man, thanks.
Yup, that was him. Was around the time they weren't doing anything together as The Knife, sister put out the solo Fever Ray record and he was doing his thing as Oni Ayhun.
I'm not sure when it was revealed to be him but around that time as well there quite a few anonymous white label releases, Adam X was releasing as Traversable Wormhole... Sandwell District was going strong, good years for techno.
feeling the Horseman tracks. Haven't heard the name before but put them in my queue for later to dig into. Cheers.

You should, before Berlin kills his own culture forever.
Stott was amazing btw, lots of deconstructed jungle breaks.
Does anyone know more stuff like these Powell-tracks?

It's so woody and chunky, it nearly sounds like a no-wave band playing techno.

^ Put on the buyselltrade mix. Started with a fav of mine, Kangding Ray. I was surprised how much I liked the Solens Arc album. Looking over the tracklist
A coincidence there's an Ancient Methods mix at the top of the frostbittenkvlt link. When browsing the discog of Headless Horsemen, I thought of them... a less aggresive imo sound of the dark, smoke filled, warehouse techno with a tinge of industrial that is Ancient Methods.
Also, Orphx is another act that comes to mind when hearing that style of techno.
Okay, I see SZ likes quite different music than me
Some time ago, I saw Lake People playing live. Was an amazing experience.

Also, I really like the David August stuff. His Boiler Room set (yes, I know...) is amazing.

Sounds great.
He played at Tresor last night. Shame, i'm too fucked up now to experience the free Sam Kerridge vs Shapednoise-set at Ohm.
He is from France actually...
Nice selection. And great you're into breakcore as well.

Man I wish I could go see Kerridge vs Shapednoise for free. The new Shapednoise video that was posted recently is intense.
Speaking of RRose did anyone listen to the new 12" that was just recently released? "Eating the other"?
yeah he was born there and grew up there but moved to berlin
still speaks with a french accent
when he was growing up in france he listened to post rock and only post rock
his taste is really sweet
dude i'd do anything for that set at ohm
and for free??? damn dude
i missed d'marc cantu last night because i spent a week binge drinking and i was exhausted from my own hedonism to actually make it out
Agreed, but I haven't been disappointed by anything from Rrose so far ... I think the project is getting better as time goes on as well.
Listening to the Dasha Rush Boiler Room set from 6 months ago or so now

Techno is just like ice cream; it's all good with lots of flavors for everyone :)

You are correct about Rrose, he/she never disappoints. It's an interesting travel how Rrose got into the techno scene; having friends around like Bob Ostertag doesn't hurt.
Enjoy
