I've recently re-worked the pattern to these jeans and decided to make a pair as a test, most of the changes were small ones such as pockets & certain improvements in the construction. Apologize if the images are off as lighting wasn't playing nice with me today.

HIGH NECK / LEATHER JKT(PERSONAL GARMENT / PROTOTYPE)

- Minimal design leather jacket

- Fully constructed on a straight stitch machine using TEX 60 thread

- High neck collar

- Two piece casual style sleeves w/ center seam

- Two way zipper style closure

- 2 front pockets + 2 inner chest pockets

Leather:
Horween USA Horsehide Leather

Lining:
100% Linen (Body)
100% Rayon (Sleeves)


Hardware:
Lampo T5 Two Way Zipper

My first attempt at a lined jacket, and in leather no less. I'm overall happy with the result, have an understanding of working with leather and I love my jacket as it looks great when worn but there's a reason it's a prototype. I wanted to see how far my home machine can go with sewing leather. Despite using a teflon foot, leather needle and increasing foot pressure my machine struggle badly when it came to topstitching. Definitely looking into an industrial machine as I can see myself making more leather jackets in the future.
