The first few looks are beautiful maybe even the most interesting and visually pleasing thing he has done in ages. The rest is not.
And I really don't want to comment on the shoes as I do every season but are those some sort of croc derivate? And please tell me there are no fanny packs involved?
His futurism looks to have shifted more from Dune to Adventure Time. I'm liking the pieces where he's experimenting more with materials. The Comme-ish stuff and the footwear, eh I dunno. The soles looked better in Dirt, but the branding on them was still inexcusable, and they don't look stitched on or anything.
Wow, I have to say this collection is very strong. I am really loving that green tone he has added this season. Frankly the styling is for the runway, but I can definitely see pieces my girlfriend would wear. I don't even mind the sandals either.
We hope that people will begin to see beyond the superficial surface of things and understand that there is far more to a design than just the way it looks on the outside.
I wonder if the inspiration was Gumby... not feeling this collection. Is this his last collection with Adidas involvement or is that already over and done? I don't care for the sandals at all.

Think Glitter is the last adidas collab.
I second negroygris sentiment - think this is very strong. Looking forward to see the materials in person as well. The structural stuff (Comme-ish) seems like it's him taking on/moving further towards similar ideas that Rei has about non-clothes.
Will be interesting to see if there are actual runway pieces like that, or if it's just runway styling of multiple pieces strung together?
It looks to me like the glitter styling. The piece is just a stretched webbed jersey dress covering 3 of the runways bags and a jacket/other pieces stuffed above her head. I am confused about the criticism of the comme-esque looks. Odd looking yes, but Glitter looked fucked and it was just a bunch of puffer jackets and moreaus with holes in them. I think the styling is really cool.
All that aside, if they are sold like that fuck ya .
Jeroenr, I agree. When watching the live stream I was laughing out loud and that has never happened before watching an RO show (not even with the FW14 Walking Turd show). After seeing the images, I started to make sense of it and appreciate many more of the looks. But at first glance it was a true WTF moment.
