DH's ad campaigns/marketing have always superseded the reality of the clothes/collections. as mortso mentioned, its the reason a lot of guys got in fashion - the ads more so than the pieces themselves. Funny, just a couple of days ago my bf blew up and framed the ad from Strip with Tell Carlson sitting down with the big white trainers - another item that was hugely iconic because of the ads yet few people probably ever handled or owned.
