Hey gang. Been a while since I've posted here. Moved to Kyoto, Japan this past summer and it seems like it's pretty humid most of the year here. My wool PH blazers are getting a lot of work in the mild winter we are having, but I'm considering a black chamois jerkin. Wondering if anyone has experience with how it handles a wet climate? Thanks in advance.

Also happy to have found out that Silver and Gold in Ōsaka has a very thorough PH selection. Not all tiny sizes, either.

      Paul Harnden shoemaker coat sizing?

Hey any sizing advice for first time PH collector?
I am getting a mens linen wool (tweed?) 2017 long coat on Grailed, size L.

looks very similar to the one I saw recently sold in DSM London, which was 4850 pounds...

*both coat have black cotton lining

Couldn't remember the size that I tried on in London unfortunately...

      I am 5f11, 64kg.

In my experience PH have relatively short sleeves, and even Large size would still fit someone tall and slim well (like me with narrow shoulder and long arms)??? am I right?

      thanks in advance

I'm in between 7.75 and 8 in Brannock device and I got these in size 7D. After the first wear with no issue.

          Hi thanks for reply,
I think you are referring to shoes? I have never tried one on so not sure about it.

I have a bunch of jackets, mostly classic blazers as well as one long blazer. The sizes vary from season to season. On average the sleeves are shorter than most would expect. For me, I have fairly short arms and so they work well.

My AW jackets (mostly from 2014) are larges and they fit me well. I have a SS classic that's an XL and that seems to be the same sizing. I think that's from SS15. I just picked up a chamois jerkin in large that is snug but fits well. Best advice is just get as many measurements as possible. Good luck. I love all my pieces and can't ever see myself parting with them.

                Paul Harnden clothing tag

                Hi guys,

A question on PH’s clothing tag.
I realised there is four different kind of clothing tag for PH
                1.HAND MADE IN ENGAND
                2.hand made in en(g)land
                3.Hand made in Scotland
                4.Hand made in Wales
Wondering is there any special meaning for this different tags.
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM.
WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE CAN SHARE MORE DETAILS.

Special as in, they are different places where Harnden makes stuff?

Hi all. I tried to find something on the Internet about the joint work of Paul Harnden and Rei Kawakubo. But apart from his special anniversary for Dover Street Market, everything else was unsuccessful. I read somewhere that Paul helped with the designs for Comme des Garçons (though how could he do that if his designs haven't changed in a long time). Any information would be valuable, thanks
