You're understanding this little story way too litterally. He was questionning his authenticity of course.

            Both presumptions are admissible

I meant, whoever has the opportunity (usualy not the best thing to do though) to meet one of his favorite designers while wearing this guy's work has the right to expect something else than sarcasm.

i heard on good authority that he was born in full harnden attire in a small manger in the back of a brighton pub and that when harnden finally met him he fell at his feet and began to weep. are we talking about the same guy?

i tried on a few of the jackets from SS13 last week, and i had the feeling that something was not ok. the fit was different, not good... i've been looking for the reason why the regular 4 or 5 buttons jackets were suddenly so ill-fitting, and the answer is: there is no back vent anymore!!! the result is an overall "egg" shape: jackets aren't fitted in the back anymore, and float around the torso. I honestly can't think it's a new style orientation. Given my experience with PH i would rather make the assumption that it's easier and quickier to produce the jackets without the vent...

It's just a question of habit.

I confirm: most of the jackets have nice fabrics but boring or simply bad shapes.
Women's line seems to be far and away more interesting.
Otherwise, fruit prints are available on shirts, jackets and short pants ;)

Didn't even feel like trying anything left at IF yesterday. Harnden is boring in the spring.

Faust - what about the workers suit in the wool fabric - heard it was beautiful?

Those are for diehards like Mr. Nouveau. For men I only like the classic blazers.

Nice pyjamas and cropped straight trousers (light version of the winter ones) though. But in sum:
