Nod glad your back and quoting again ... now just give me a new sarty mcfly remark to brighten my day.

ZBOSS you out balled me, my version is only canvass... but is the leather one you have... a single hide ? cause the version i ahve is made from one piece, didnt think he would get a hide that big... unless yours is a smaller version than mine.

pretty sure its one piece...it ran $2200 iirc.
ma+ came out of the gate on fire--
just like ol' sarty when eyeing some volcanic ash, softly collecting on his camera lens, and thinking what a fabulous coincidence it was that model he was photographing had the same name of girl he loved one summer, one summer abroad, before he was world famous, before blogs, before all this.

have about half dozen tasters from the younger japanese ones so thought i'd share

                  my experience

IS with an aura that resonates the best with me BUT few pieces actually end up hitting the spot. have a pair of linen pants (ahem, selling another, ahem), a pair of wool pants, a bag that I use a good bit. otherwise, have some tops that i want to love but there is always a limiting factor...always something sub-optimal. whether it be the way a contrasting white fabric pokes out underneath a collar, the length of the jacket, the way the shoulders fit....will keep coming back for more though so that says something.

devoa is really nice, great construction, but without the artisanal appeal of IS. so aura falls short but plenty of beater potential here in the tops and jackets. i wear a few long sleeves frequently despite a few drawbacks. yes, forearms still awkward - cut not dynamic, neither accentuating or suggesting movement.

ma+ -> a little more experience here (about 10 dips). bag, tops, jacket (non aviator, never got into showing midrif) from early seasons, an early season bag, a 3y old wallet, a pair 5 pockets from last season -> i wear all of it to death. goes with anything and everything. ma+ is a workhorse (as opposed to ccp which is twisted sunday best). i dont notice a step down in fabrications compared my cdiem pieces which i love for the same reasons. cut, construction on the good pieces is just right...nothing to add or take away. this season, like this jacket the best....seen it before but sans the new raglan...the cotton linen blend is perfect.

the notu jofu backstory got me hyped...the material is sick, dries instantly when wet. but the cut of the jacket is a bit short, wide in the sleeves so the investment is next level in too many ways.
