I very much like that last look Laika posted with the super shrunken shirt. There's a few great jackets also. The clothes look really comfortable too and the fabrics tough enough to be tossed around a bit, which I always like.

Thanks for extra pics and link.

I really like this collection. This is more "easy" than Thom Browne. TB's style is more "forced" to me.

I like the roll up pants style and shrunken blazer and shirt. So there are collaborations with Brooks Brothers this time. Will be interesting to see in person.

It was a fantastic show. Models were walkingbetween guests. It is not really TB but rather summer shunken jkts to the extreme. And as the linen jkts are lined (in different patterns), the crumplings are more intensive. Some of the jkts has buttons at the back:-) The pinstriped suit pants are superb (I willget one:-P) And knitts are also nicely crumpled. A lot of collab (I don't remember with whom:-)

The collabs are with Izod and Brooks Brothers.

I liked this show a lot. The Thom Browne reference was something I thought of myself, but I saw it more as Junya's (or was it Comme?) shrunken jackets from two falls back, with slicker and less pop-ish color choices than Paul Smith. I'd love to see straight guys wearing this look.

                This explains everthing:-)

Some of the stuffs are pernamently wrinkled. But the linen ones are not if I remember right. I also like superthin and delicate knitts (that are also washed and wrinkled).

I might get a shrunken, wrinkled jacket, but I tend to wear at least 1 relativelyeccentric piece in each outfitso it's not a total departure. I understand the Tom Browne references (there's even a BB collabo) but I really see it a being more akin to Lanvin. The looks and cuts and more European and dandified than American and 60s. There's the same nonchalance in taking suiting and have all that fancy fabric wrinkled and cut in a non-traditional way. When I see Lanvin I don't imagine an aristocrat but a character akin to Benacquista's protagonist in "Les morsures the l'aube" (The bites of dawn) who?s a sort of parasite who uses guile and connections to go from high society party to party and lives on the food he gets there, wearing the same crumpled but luxurious outfit and sleeping during the day on a gym bench. Junya just does it in a more eccentric (Japanese?) way and I appreciate that sort of uneasy equilibrium between that Lanvin influence and his wilder roots.
