oh god....ok....confession is good for the soul, i guess.

It's black, one-button, very slim cut but not tight. Instead of a lapel, it has a piece of attached fabric, which is cut in such a way that it looks like a lapel on one side, and a long scarf on the other. The fit is *superb*. In all fairness, I have been wanting a black jacket for a long time, and because of my size, it's difficult to find something with perfect proportions. [:$]

Anyway..yeah...I have completely lost my mind....good thing we are having lunch tomorrow. I need to step away from the Yohji. [^o)]

Nice!!! I hear it's jacket weather tomorrow! [66]

hmm, looks like this might have been a double message!

      Coming Soon

Yohji Yamamoto targets the casual crowd

      Friday, January 04, 2008

(NEW YORK) Paris Men's Fashion Week is gearing up to be as exciting off the runway as it is on.

      Yohji Yamamoto
will launch Coming Soon, a new super casual collection comprised of
clothing and accessories aimed at both men and women in the younger
consumer demographic. Having signed a 10-year licensing deal with Sinv
S.p.A. to manufacture and market the line worldwide through its own
showrooms and distribution network, the pieces will forego Yamamoto's
signature label. According to the Japanese design icon, the idea is to
create one's own stylistic message through the benefit of anonymity.

      Coming
Soon will hit stores starting in July. According to Yamamoto chief
executive officer Keizo Tamoto, 10-year projected sales figures are
expected to be more than 200 million Euros, or close to $300 million
with distribution divided between Europe (60%), Asia (30%), and the
      U.S. (10%).

I think this is regular Y's stuff, but I don't remember seeing another thread for it.
