Hello all my name is Richard, I joined the forum not too long ago with plans of becoming more involved here rather than lurking around but that never took place instead I would seldom visit but when I did I would spend hours on end digging through the forum. Planning on utilizing the platform more so I thought it best to introduce myself. I live in Brooklyn and work as an assistant pattern maker for an artisanal designer that most of you are likely familiar with. My biggest interest outside of garment making would be heavy music, Ive played the drums from a young age and am involved with the punk and underground music scene here in Brooklyn. I'm a fashion design major at a decent good school in the states, and I got into fashion and literature towards the end of high school. I'm definitely looking to learn more from these forums and actually dig in. As far as designers go, I'm really into Raf right now, I've been doing a lot of research especially now that the house has closed. I've been looking into 20471120, Julius, Ader Error, and Undercover/Undercoverism as of late, and I actually just picked up some aw02 Raf corduroy pants.

I've lurked for a little while but I figured I should actually join and see if there's anyone still active around.
