headresses and boots are distracting (perhaps because i don't like them) and i certainly don't find much of this attractive. the skirts certainly have some interesting details but if i had to guess before seeing them on a model i would say they look like kilts for men and not a womans skirt.

word. I didn't like the nun headpieces either, but I liked the draped shoes.

I was gonna say that the skirt shoes are too blunt for my taste. hm. I'm fairly disappointed this didn't grow on me at all.

is it me or did prada pick out the best looking models for their s/s 09 runway in paris or does rick owens not give a crap about how the models look as long as they are models?
i like the fact that rick owens hasn't gone out of his way to look for good looking ones, but some of these women look awful scary. ><

i like this aspect of his casting...it is in line with his philosophy towards style and life in general based on what i glanced from his interviews. I think it's the whole approach to striving for something kinda broken or lived in i like best.

i would wear a lot of this. hah.. i like this collection.. a solid amount of good amongst the boring that seems to be popping up more and more. the repetition is not annoying or boring but a base for more, a theme.. brilliant..

have been impressed by several designers of late.

Hm...at first glance I was like..gosh this sux a lot.. wtf's that supposed to be.

I totally hate those ..well.. what is nun headpieces, pharonic whatever thing.
But letting that aside, it's simply beautiful.
I am undecided about those leather cuff thingies. I am not sure if it actually works. It's a brilliant idea, but had to see a girl walking by wearing them....

Someone mentioned it looks all the same. But it doesn't..not at all, but it takes time for the impression to settle in.. love that.

i havent really got a strong opinion on this collection yet, but im abit of a fan of the whole 'nun' look.

though is it just me or are all these models butt ugly! and not only them, but these days in general =/

everyone keeps saying these models are ugly... why? I would way rather see these chicks rocking rick than these pretty ass chicks seen in some mj show... Weird looking chicks are HOT!! Let those other models wear that other overly hyped stuff, and let rick dress up some styley women... (and if you look close, there are only a couple that are borderline no-no's)
