there are many songs that i like very much,
im not sure what music most SZ members like to listen,
if i am to pick a couple songs from my list for SZ,

first video that comes to my mind is :

Malcolm McLaren - Deep In Vogue

i like its stylish dance moves, will vogueing make it a comeback?

    Don Ross - Elevation Music
it;s the kind of music i digg..

all tomorrows parties would be my preferred song but i guess the lyrics aren't very appropriate for a fashion site

edit: and i didn't want to post this one, but it is the first thing that hits my mind these days http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwzaifhSw2c

ha i opened up DHC's link in a cafe when they had no music was playing at that moment and obliviously i had my volume turned up full, to help i made a rather loud laugh.... everyone looked rather strangely at me.

merz def out of what iv heard of sonic youth my fav song but really haven't touched the surface of how much music they have despite it taking up the most room out of any artist in my itunes

That song was highschool for me. It was on repeat in my head as I avoided the jocks, tried to get out as soon as possible to skate a shin high curb...contrived life i guess.

definetly. Ritchie takes the cake. His songs builds up in spirals and lingers so sensually. I love love love it. the backbone of electronic music stripped down to nothing but the essence.

i would say that the sound is a good match with the sz "vibe", also probably one of the most under-rated bands from the post-punk scene. for example that song:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=pTe6DF7Erx0

and from the other hand some old-school decadent techno from the basic channel or chain reaction, almost every track is timeless, octagon is a good example:
