The boots look pretty similar to CDiem ones. I'd give them a try just for that...
How do you guys like the fit of my new CCP suit?

Yeah, the curve of the toe box look a bit awkward, the full body shot makes it more apparent, check here

Will probably look more natural with a few creases...

              Devoa boots

Tried the boots on earlier this year during the collection installation. The construction of the boots is very solid and extremely well made. The texture of the leather is actually really nice, the black one at least, pretty stiff, break-in time required for sure.
I have to agree though that the toe box is off, the curve isn't appealing, it should look better with natural creases after wear, but till i see what a seasoned pair looks like, this is a no-go for me.

For those interested in the jacket posted on the previous page, there are 2 matching pants (same fabric of course) that can go with it to make a set, depending on what overall silhouette you like. Fyi.

                    Thanks, really interesting article.

There is something very Japanese in being obsessed with details and materials like that. In that sense, I find Poell's and LUC's approach to be very Japanese as well. No wonder they enjoy cult following over there.

/\ Funny you should say this - I am now reading through the Japan Fashion Now book and some of the essays there make the same point. For them it's what differentiates utilitarian brands like visvim that seem to produce pretty straightforward clothes and yet make it stand apart because of such great attention to detail.

Cheers for that article lowrey, really was an interesting read into the designer's mind. I would just like to add that his thirst for creating and using great materials is indeed worth every bit of effort he puts into it. I remember putting on a pair of his pants, and with just one leg halfway through a leg hole I already knew I needed to buy them.

I had never felt such smooth and luxurious lining in my life. It just made the anatomical fit that much more comfortable.

i haven't come across any discussion at all regarding the leather jacket. has anyone tried it on? the fit pics on lex luther from fascinate look amazing, yet on the other model there seems to be a persistent 'bump' over the sternum, and his shoulders are never slouched; and not to be rude, but the dude from the archive can often make stuff look, .. different.
