Too flat, too cold, but I have to agree with laika that there is
a refinement that prevail the total indifferent, I'm feeling towards
        Rick Owens lately.

The only thing that makes me slightly excited is this Gilet ...

Are you afraid of women, Doctor?

Really, the sleeveless mink vest, the matte crocodile leather jacket, and the beltless hooded leather cloaks/jackets are untouchable. And I definitely like Rick's interpretation of skorts that have been popping up in other designers' shows. Definitely lots to look forward to in stores.
I completely agree on the outerwear, and it could be that because I own a fair share of rick I'm just getting tired of him and can't look at things objectively. I'm really not too keen on the skort thing, although I guess it's better than the plain old shorts on pants.

awesome, really liking a couple of the pieces...

anyone know what's going on around the waist here? Part of the shirt, pants, or a separate piece entirely?

I'm with Becoming-Intense. It's definitely a step up from s/s 09, but on whole it still suffers from the general conceptual malaise afflicting much (all?) of paris fashion week thus far. There's been very little that I outright dislike, but an equally small amount that really excites me. Total flatline, zzzzztown.

In principle I'm feeling this coat

and the oft quoted suiting, but I don't see myself actually buying any of the pieces on display here.

the silhouette is strong and the pieces are quite minimal, so the textures really come through (inching closer to that brancusi sculpture he wants to be). It's raw but refined.

                                Bravo.
While I do see a somewhat sleek and abstract (non conceptual?) reminiscent from Brancusi what I really enjoy was seeing how he expanded his design vocabulary to include some structure and tailoring to be combined with his usual slouchy street/goth wear. It's also hard to see from the pics but Pugh was also referenced in a couple of outfits with the inclusion of some highly geometric backs.
