i didn't know leather could be so sexually aggressive.

but seriously, i like this piece very much! and did you shape the metal shell? that seems no easy feat.

It's not easy. With the proper equipment though, it's manageable.

what i like about these pieces is that they both seem infused with the quirky personality that exudes from the designer's sporadic posts and waywt pictures. i want to see more. that bowler is really cool too. post a fit pic!
                LOVE THE SHIRST... HOW much?

I'll try and up a picture of the bowler being worn later today.

this picture did nothing for the texture, but I guess you have the other picture for that.

resoled them. actually this is the 2nd resoling. i've worn through 2 sets of soles.

                          beautiful!

can i give a small comment? beefing up the hinges on the valise would make it even more compelling... current ones seem a tad bit too flimsy in context of the entirety of the bag... should be more robust and industrial...

The hinges are 1/8 the size of the width of the bag, same dimensions, forming a self-reference, fractal-like situation. Are you thinking larger (1/4, 1/6?) hinges? or just feeding the hinges beef?

I like your thoughts on an industrial aesthetic, but this bag (to me) isn't the place for that type of hardware, at least externally.

Great bag Thomas. Lovely lining too. The bowler is intriguing. I would be interested to know what the hat is made from.
