i love, watch and have played most sports and I have always maintained that Stanley Cup playoff hockey is the best sporting event ever.... period. Overtime just brings it to the next level,another dimension.

rangers look good. they are good but have trouble scoring. they definitely can go all the way but there's a long way to go.

Very strange playoffs this year. Recently, the top scoring teams have dominated, but not this year. LA has probably looked best, and they were the second lowest scoring team in the league this year. I mean, NJ is the highest scoring team left now!

And I am praying that LA wins the West -- it would be just wrong if Phoenix got to the Finals -- the Kings are an Original 6 team compared to the Coyotes.

NY-LA would be interesting.

Its all about the goalie play.. J-quick, Mike smith, Marty and Lunk were easily playing the best this post season.. as a Kings fan, its crazy to get so far at #8, but Phx was only 1 pt higher than LA in the reg season..

Phx vs Chicago went to like 3 or 4 consecutive overtimes in the first round.. That pretty epic

Caps have done it two series in a row. Their first round against Boston was as close as you can get: all 7 games were one-goal games and four went to overtime (including both games 6 and 7).

totally forgot about the caps v bruins.. not sure how, because just after the loss all my Beantown buddies were bitching non stop about the loss.. it was apparently their Armageddon..
