I like this. For selfish reasons I wish Junya would go back to something with an edge (biker collection) but of his recent dandy collections this one is quite good.

I was anticipating something along these lines, but Holy God, it's like he made a summer collection just for me. It lacks the clever twists of classics like this and last summer, but it really echoes my general style, as well as representing a (ultimate?) maturation of his gentleman image. I'll benefit the most from the shirts and accessories, I expect

Edit: minus the foulards, I was dressed almost exactly like this yesterday. Trippy

Probably seen this before, but the best I have seen from
Junya in awhile and so far the only interest
    out of Paris.
Some of the jackets are a real treat.
Again those pockets on the shirt is not working for me.
    This I really like ...

I know that this looks similar to some of his recent collections, but it's quite different in the detail, and actually the general reference points. it's much more louche than the previous preppy collections. a bit terry thomas ("Snob" was the name of/inspiration for the collection). there are some really beautiful pieces, and some lovely colours (the mid blue hooded raincoat, which is a customised McIntosh). i think he's refining his approach more and more now, and it's getting quite sohpisitcated. i personally hope he doesn't go back to biker or any other kind of "outsider" or other clearly defined demographic group, since this would seem to be a step away from this developing approach. he seems to me to have a rhythm now in his menswear, and i hope he keeps it going.

this is good, approachable but not boring. Most likely will be better in person when the details are revealed. Always am a fan of Junya's menswear. Too bad this stuff will be astronomically priced.
