This was wonderful. I loved the splash and vibrance of red as well. I'll have to tear myself away from it when it hits stores. An artist is not paid for his labor, but for his vision. - James Whistler

I love how I expected to see a ton of black (even for spring/summer) and ended up seeing lots of red towards the end after a healthy dose of light, airy beige.
I couldn't pull much (read: any) of this off but as a collection, the flow and drape of the material, the colors, the fits, the models....all very, very well done. Beat my expectations and it's a pleasant surprise to see a collection literally flow like that from piece to piece where there's a definite story and consistency.Originally posted by mizzarSorry for being kind of a dick to you.

^ I agree, a true DD atmosphere again with this show (which Ann D's, with this white spiritless room, was lacking of imo), a very cohesive work and presentation, some cuts are followed, some new, slightly different, appear, and overall I got the confirmation of what I thought and said many times : DD is one of the most interesting designer in terms of colours.
Thanks ML for the awesome pictures.
As usual, don't get confused by the runway show, most of the clothes will be easily wearable. Runway total DD look isn't real life, and his clothes work well with each and every here beloved designers.
Btw see Faust's perfect logic : if Ann D pictures are bad, they aren't true to reality, if DD's pictures are good, they aren't true to reality.
ML's pictures are showing what you couldn't see because of the darkness of the place, in particuliar the colours and the fabrics.
But, here are, for your pleasure, some poor pics.
