I've been a big fan of Vincenzo de Cotiis' work for a while now, and actually just recently learned that he is behind fashion label Haute

ditto. i've been a fan of vdc for a while too and really love his designs for ceccotti althought really don't think that the straf is all that great... nor haute (find the clothes fit really awkward)...

I haven't seen Straf in person, but did like some of the pics that I've come across. only have two saved:

I've stayed at STRAF, and I liked it a lot. Would stay again.





And I like HAUTE as well, very much so.

Really like the shapes and use of materials (even the severity of some), and the colour palette.
Also lot of the furniture seems very confortable (ironically not very common in contemporary industrial design).

i thin it's utterly beautiful and appealing in every way..The severity and the lines created are quite wonderful. I didn't notice this thread until now, thanks ML and Faust for your contribution as well It's great to see some pictures I haven't seen before..

Thanks for the pics. The pieces have a great minimal / vintage / industrial look

The pieces actually don't look horrible to sit on like some modern pieces do

he doesn't design for haute. its latest collection spring 10 was by someone else.
now he is doing his own "de cotiis". in some ways it is similar to what haute offered at an earlier stage.
