anybody watch "Friday Night Lights"..the tv series?

i love this show and just finished watching the whole last season. it was on direct tv and i needed to download and watch. i can't understand how there can be so much junk on tv and that this show gets no love.

it could be my fav tv show. i'm always a sucker for sports based sappy shit but, imo, this show is incredibly well done.

I find myself having to pause it,so i can recollect what happened in previous seasons,so this season makes a bit more sense!

Watching Lost final season as well. I'm curious to see how the whole space-time continuum distortion shit will turn out. For once a show about it doesn't involve spaceships or bearded professors in corduroy pants.

Let's not forget Daniel Farraday,a bearded university proffessor with a love for corduroy!

I love the comedy duo that is Hurley and Miles.

I'm also watching LOST. Or to be more precise, I try to record the whole season, so I can watch it in a short time and save a lot of internal WTFs after each cliffhanger.

I'm a huge geek. Really enjoyed Battlestar Galactica (even the last season) and currently watching the spinoff, Caprica.

For some reason Dead Like Me sticks out in my mind as shows I've enjoyed...

Just wanted to add my two cents:

Archer is fucking great!( Loved KillFace also)
Fringe may be my favorite all time show.
Flash Forward seems interesting but I'm not sold yet.
I thought Heroes was great but i'm not feeling it anymore.

Thats all I watch is mindless scifi or anime/cartoons.

skins isn't something i'd recommend, but i know my girlfriend loved the first two seasons and eventually sucked it up and went through the third season despite it being pretty bad.

she then devoured all 7 seasons of shameless right after that somehow.

American TV has improved beyond recognition, shows like The Wire and The Shield are (well, were) mind bendingly good. Californication is easily - for me - the funniest thing on TV. I very rarely watch English TV any more - I live in London - the standard here is now so low that 99% of UK TV now appears schedule filling dross.

Though America does still get it wrong, Flash Forward was laughably poor, and full of English actors. Hopefully the two things are not connected!

Dark Place is fantastic, Brass Eye, The Day today, Armando Iannucci shows...the thick of it, alan partridge, the office, shooting stars - I love Uk comedy. Unfortunately I feel HBO is great for drama, especially in the new 'devour a whole boxset' format of viewing thats emerging.

I've recently enjoyed Battlestar Galactica, The Wire, Twin Peaks and Oz.....I've been lent a True Blood set of series 1 and 2 so will be ( tentatively ) giving that a go.

Despite what I've just said, anyone seen This Is England 86 ( the film spin off series by Shane Meadows )?
