This actually surprised me a bit, as it's alot less romantic than usual ann IMO and much darker. I like it alot.

This is the best FW 10/11 collection so far. And I am a Julius addict!
It so much more wearable and realistic than the RO stuff. Even fur (and I hate fur with a passion) doesn't only fit in because of the colour scheme, but because it LOOKS good and elegant, and not like a tribute to our ancestors. Ann does not try to be radical, she's just different. I have not liked any Ann collection more since I got interested three years ago. I know, I still have to learn more about the past, but this is so satisfying for now.

i can't say i like this...
it looks like this belongs on a stage/its very theatrical...
i feel there are too many add ons... braids, straps, and feathers. The pieces get lost among the layering which is quite a shame, the pants are nice in the legs but i don't like the waist area.
glossy black... pony hair and feathers don't really work for me
The boots have been the same for the past how long but she changed it with a wrap tie boot which could have been nice.
Either way not a drastic hit or miss

I know runway shows are mere presentations, but I feel Ann's tend to lend themselves to how you would pair the pieces together. Thanks for posting the pictures.

I'm not sure about it, tbh. Sure, it's Ann and it's great, but I think snafu nailed it, there's too much unnecessary fluff piled on top, and it doesn't create a dramatic-romantic look, but rather tacky/set-design/80's punk.

I think this look sums the disappointing side of the collection quite nicely:

Those sleeves, some disproportional vest-skirt-flying-around thing, and the belts and bits. Just no.

Having said that, most of the looks are seriously cool, and look wonderful, styling and all.
