A lot of nice stuff here. The venue looks like a high school cafeteria though. Was there any ambiance?
...much better. Getting acquainted with the camera eh?![]()
nice collection!
I particularly love the first black leather jacket and the black jeans.
The sleeveless vests / leather jackets with the drape neck are seriously killer!
A lot of lovely items which I canīt wait to try on!
Thanks a lot for posting this Christian, appreciate it.
I'm liking the leather and denim jackets. In particular the white moto and cowl?
I know Horikawa is all about the prints but...I'm really not feeling it.
i like the prints here its a nice lil change to an aesthetic thats gettin kinda tired to me . some of this is the same ol julius but other stuff is rly nice and fresh and clean . i rly like some of the long lightweight coats and i like that lots of the shorts are clean and not super distressed and wrinkly and shredded to hale but still retains the vibe one would expect
Agree with jogu. Lots of nice pieces and a step away from previous collections. I'm not crazy about prints, but I enjoy the little pops of them here. Might be a different story in person. I like a lot of the cropped pants and even the black leather pants. I'm always impressed by the sheer volume of items Julius produces each season.
Great job Christian. Nice and tight.
(Mike N. was apparently not impressed..vrrr..)
Agree with peasant.
Generally it looks more wearable, less theatrical, but that my just be the presentation. Not sure about the thicker profiled soles on all boots. Some work, some don't. Same goes for the cowl neck jackets. I predict these jackets will never look better than on the runway.
Oh, and thanks Christian for keeping us in touch with Paris.

I like this collection alot, and i really appreciate having the back views. I think that they nailed the styling and setting, plain and light so all the texture and details can be seen.
Also there are a alot (read every) pieces that i like and want. a fellow can dream...
On another note i know the designs aren't groundbreaking for Julius but i am impressed with their fabric selection and i think that this is a giant leap from the AW presentation.
Like the boots. I've started coming around to the Julius footwear (maybe b/c the clothes won't fit me), and the slouchy moto boot is a more wearable color than the white ma+ offering this season.
i thought the atmosphere was nice, and the styling was good, however, the shapes were missing, excpet for the collars on the leathers. I'll save my opinion for later, usually the individual pieces blow me away, and the overall impression not. fabrics looked really nice except for the distressed denim shit stuff , and i liked the high vents in the backs of the coats.

full show picks uploaded from catwalking. I'm hoping they will be in vogue.com soon for the close-ups
(edit: sorry posted the wrong link see above now)
Damn! I better start saving for some leathers. Horikawa is truly a master of leather jackets.
But in general I'm pretty convinced by the whole collection at first glance. Definitely Julius, but still something new.
PS: Thanks to Christian for the pictures. Also thanks to andrew, but Christian's detail pics are great.
