After perusing through all the recent “best albums” of the year I’ve seen being posted on various news outlets, I realized I have such a hard time finding new music because pop is considered the boundary pusher in contemporary music. In light of this, I decided to put together a mix of music I enjoy. The music I’ve chosen isn’t particularly new, but it’s not old either. It’s somewhere in between with a few you might have missed along the way.
HTRK – EAT YR HEART
BOY HARSHER – YR BODY IS NOTHING
DEATH IN VEGAS – HANDS AROUND MY THROAT
TEARIST – HEADLESS
PHARMAKON – BANG BANG [CHER COVER]
DVA DAMAS – WET VISION
TRUE WIDOW – JACKYL
CHELSEA WOLFE – MAW
HTRK – SWEETHEART (A.K.A. I LOVE YOU) [SUICIDE COVER]
TROPIC OF CANCER – STOP SUFFERING
