We would like to present to you Yuima Nakazato’s Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture digital Paris collection. This season, Nakazato invited Ms. Lauren Wasser, a double-amputee, to serve as the muse to represent a new era in fashion. By applying a proprietary digital processing technology (Biosmocking) to a unique synthetic protein material (Brewed Protein™), Nakazato created three-dimensional shapes to embody the physical details of the wearer in order to demonstrate the ability to create individualized pieces despite the distance of the couturier to the customer.
