Thanks for the pictures Faust !
There are some others here, I apologize if they have already been posted someplace else :

Is it just a display of (amazing) clothes or is there some interesting texts and relations between garnments ? Is the catalogue good ?

No texts and the catalogue is so-so. It was a bit of a flop, to be honest. The FIT exhibit is much better, not to mention that it's free. And the catalogue that accompanies it, JAPAN FASHION NOW, is worth getting.

I felt similarly that the recent Japanese fashion show at the Asian-American art museum in SF was a klunker (my recent reaches as far as 2 years -- 'a bit'.)

I'm pleased to hear about the show at FIT -- I think I'll take the train up to see it. And pick up the catalogue, natch. Thanks for the pics and the news about the exhibit at FIT, Faust.

wasn't too impressed by the curation of the exhibition. many of them are popular work of the designers. i'm looking forward to the Yohji tribute at V&A in spring!

whew, thanks for the reminder. I probably would've forgotten about this as it was initially supposed to run until Jan 8th, but seems like it has been extended to April!
