Re: Julius 2007 S/S - www.julius-garden.jp updated with new collection
Thanks for the post, rajio. I have to admit, some of the draping is a little much more than I like, but all in all, I still think Julius is just so... cool. Cool isn't a great descriptive word, but when I see Julius lookbooks the curious middle-schooler comes out in me.

All of this stuff is 10,000 times drapier than I would ever be able to pull off, but damn, I love it anyway.
happen to have an idea what the blazer with the chain closing is made from?
I believe its silk / mohair(wool) blend. I have a silver blazer from last spring that has a similar sheen. I really like how they used a chain instead of a button to clasp the blazer. Gives it a real sleek look. And the cut is on point. Rolled shoulders, curved fit, elongated base, shortened sleeves, and those peaked lapels...real sexy.

Thanks Rajiv. I love the outerwear they do season in-season out. Don't like the draping as others pointed out.

Love it all. It reminds me of the clothing and the way the staff at Atelier dress, but with all the draping it just seems fresher. Definitely loving the draping, and it's been a feeling I've really started to get into, first with Lad and then with some Rick Owens' pieces I own, but they always seemed so disparate. With Julius, it just all seems to come together. Thanks for the pics! Love that widely-spaced, proto-napoleon jacket. I gotta get me some of the draped stuff.
Supposedly Bblessing in NYC is planning on carrying Julius, but I'd have to confirm with Kyohei.
