    Eyewear & Bags in Japan

I know there are billions of hidden shops in Japan catering to every fashion sense, so I just wanted to focus on recommendations for Eyewear, Hats and Bags. So I don't have to worry about these items fitting or not =)

Any suggestions of where to look for pieces not found stateside would be appreciated, Thank you dearly...

When I was in Tokyo this past February I saw quitea few accessories stores carrying this Italian line of bags called Orobianco, and I was told they're huge over there (Tyler Brule is said to be a fan). They're sort of like an Italian Jas M.B., quirkyyet extremely well made. I can't name any stores that carry it since I'm not that familiar with the city, but you'll find plenty of Yahoo auctions and Japanese online stores selling them.

    Here's one

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out when I'm over there. I guess I'll have to do more research =)

For glasses I become quite interested in Cutler& Gross recently. They made some really good looking sunnies & frames while the price is relatively reasonbale. And i am told that they are now very popular in japan.

I remember there was some company that made wooden frames...but the name escapes me. I'd definitely have an interest in those. I'll post the name when I find it =)

i swear by cutler & gross. the frames and sunglasses have been featured in 10men on several occasions.

can't beat the price, and it helps that they are available in the states vs say... n(n), unless you are in NY. frames are best to try on before buying

definitely. They were firstly carried by CdG in tokyo but later became very popular. Also a lot of stocklists in the states.
