Great.[75] I am just beginning to do some work right above where Atelier is moving to. Aloha Rag right around the corner, hmmm, could potentially negate some of the earnings of this new endeavor...
Distraction is an obstruction of the construction.
Why do you think it's ironic? And no doubt Atelier will find themselves in the same position, but there is nothing they can do about it. It's NYC and it's being gentrified at the speed of light. I think they've bought themselves at least another 5 years.

i hate to say it but i think Atelier will become mainstream. all these ny times articles that are so tongue in cheek scare the crap out of me. even my mom sent me an email saying i was busted. all these labels we cherish are on the brink of mass stardom. or at least the stardom where you see people in new york wearing the shit all the time.
and i also hate to say that my current studio is 3 blocks away.
the crack rock, always close, forever closer.
edit: and why does the media always have to negate darkness?
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.
yeah, i try not to look at the obvious and think of it as a media casting, but you're right. its awesome that A is moving, they're bursting at the seams, i just hope the hype doesn't backfire. ahhh, there's a lot worse things to worry about right now.

Thanks for the map. My bf had an interview last week with Yoda (?) for Aloha Rag; but, was unable to explain to me where exactly the store would be.
This could prove bad on paydays (okay really any day that I'm bored too!) as I typically walk 2 co-workers up Hudson everyday to the Path train and then cut across Christopher St. to the 1.
