    Help! Fashion photo analysis

Hey all, though I could use some help of you guys for finding a fashion photo to analyse.

Im currently studying introduction to fashion science and got a homework to analyse a fashion photo. It could be from a magazine, advert ,catalogue, internet..whatever

Should be a photo that fascinates you, something that raise thoughts.
Provocative, something that cause strong reactions (positive or negative).

The analysis should be on the basis of Roland Barthes texts and books.
    signifier/signified, "punctum", denotation/connotation...so boring :)

so, show me some cool photos if you have any..

    thanks!

Look for a photo by Guy Bourdin, maybe one of the ads he shot for Charles Jourdain; he put forward a narrative in pretty much every photo he took; what you see in is work is a crystallized instant not a static shot without past nor future. Explore his use of objects like walls, poles, trees, doors and other assorted linear delimitations to isolate his subjects from one another, the minimization of the product Vs other considerations, a possible misogyny that can be paralleled with his treatment of models and personal life, an ominous air underlined by lighting, facial expressions and other elements of composition, hints of surrealism and oblique references to Man Ray and Balthus. He only shot for magazines (mainly vogue france), the formal integration of the two-page spread and ensuing divider was probably one of the bolder and fully realized conjoining of picture and medium in recent history.

PS: Barthes may appear boring to you at first glance but he provides a formal apparatus to make sense of the world, an opportunity that anyone can benefit from.

good choice on the guy bourdin.... I also recommend Eugenio Recuenco, as I find every one of his photos to be like a little film.
I am not familiar with Barthes, but I hope this can help
