Great news. I met that A magazine team at Pitti Uomo. The new website and blog are online now. Eventually all of the back issues will be online, so no need to worry about out of print issues. This is really fantastic on their part. Check it out.

I like the Graces dolls :) They're kind of what I would imagine the creatures from Ixchel (the planet in "A Wrinkle in Time") would look like. They're described as tall, sightless creatures with tentacles who can heal.

A magazine booth at Pitti. They put each issue on an iPod Touch - people were having fun playing with them...

this reminds me of that time we were lucky enough to see the bizarre mating rituals of the lazzari bird.
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

Love the magazine, but I can't understand why when print moves onto the web they don't do their sites properly.

Things have been very quiet in this neighbourhood. Can we expect new issues, or have they given up? There's still an issue outstanding on my subscription...I want a return on my investment, dammit!

It's really cool of them to put the issues online. After all, they're not exactly easy to find. However, if anything, it has made me want real copies even more.

I have the Jun Takahashi issue, but I haven't found the MMM issue yet. There was one on eBay a while ago, but even with water damage on the cover and the first few pages it ended at more than $200.

I also want No. B, curated by Bernhard Willhelm. I have A and C (Van Saene and Chalayan), and it just feels wrong to have one missing in the middle. The No. # magazines are sort of a predecessor of A Mag, if I remember correctly they ran out of funding for the project and then restarted it later with a new name.

I checked their website today on a whim, and can now answer my own question: the next issue will be out 10.10.2010. No editor announced as of yet.

Looks like they're also putting the original run of the magazine (ABCDE) online, starting with the Dirk van Saene issue, of course.
