The article itself might not be all that relevant to most of us in terms of personal style, but if you look at the multimedia slide show, there are a few CdG, Rick and even BBS items thrown in the mix. Honestly, it kind of irks me, not so much because our beloved designers are being given too much mainstream exposure as because the pieces are being re-cast away from the designers' original vision to fit into this club-kid revival scene....

A guy I know is now one of lady gaga's dancers.
I think though that it has more to do with the ball scene in new york and the paradise garage than candy ravers.
Personally, I love going to clubs where the freaks come out. Not so sure new york has them anymore, but they are around ;)

its the same thing that was going on in london about 6 years or so ago.
With The boom box club night,and the "nu rave" bullshit scene.
Head to Hoxton on a sunday night and you shall be greeted by a host of trannies,fashion freaks,and leigh bowery wannabes struttin g there stuff across the square.merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.
