what has been the best day/nite of your life? i'm not referencing personal events such as marriage or births of children etc but rather cultural, recreational experiences that you cherish and will never forget. i'm sure we all have a few but i'm specifically asking for one.
i've attended many iconic concerts but this fight still ranks as #1 on my list.
mine: working the first ali/frazier fight march 8, 1971, at madison square garden. i believe that particular nite is a landmark modern day event and i feel privileged to have been able to attend along with the international "beautiful people" that flew in from around the world to witness the bout...btw, i sat, in an aisle, on the ground next to hugh hefner who was accompanied by his then love barbie benton. she wore a see thru blouse....remember, this was '71. i was in heaven
i had color 35mm slides but, sadly, they have disintegrated
and your's is?
