(Scratches head). I guess if you look closely enough there are some cool pieces (also digging the HLish black looks in the middle), but kinda WTF overall. But I know laika has always secretly dreamed of drop crotch running shorts.

i think the drop crotch running shorts are one of the few things i like about this and some of the black dresses. footwear looks identical to y-3/isabel marant which is dissapointing. i dunno we got a lot of great things to look at this season from paris so wtvr.
edit: i got a metropolis vibe from this with the head pieces and the facepaint and some of the sectional anatomic joint style lines.

Absolutely fucking genius.
This is a shot in the arm.
And this is what I want from a designer.
Hussein hinted at it with his tennis inspired columns of great minimal beauty, but this..... this is the cherry.
Sportswear for the future. Original, sexy, head-turning.
No references that poke me in the eye, and a genuinely new proposition.
Thanks Junya.spinning glue back into horses. . .

the pattern-cutting its so intense and actually make sense on the body, which its very rare these days. lot of other designer assume that the darts/cutting lines they use are right but most of the time they restrict the garment of moving. this look right in my eyes. also the finishing on same garments reminded me of his ss07 men collection.
not sure about the shoes, though.

oh, faust....
This reminds me in several places of s/s 2004...the cut-outs, the overlapping straps, the bike shorts....and several of the dresses look like they've been simply lifted from that collection and tweaked the slightest bit.
Ugly high-tops, but otherwise I'm really enjoying this, especially the jackets and parkas. Nice to see Junya doing something less commercial again....I mean the ephemeral, the fugitive, the contingent, the half of art whose other half is the eternal and the immutable.
