i don't know what Yoshji means (do you mean that he sounds like Yohji or is it some kind of Japanese street slang), but that sentence jumped out at me. Rick seems like a nice guy but that is disingenuous bullshit of the highest order.

I can relate to it, I don't like people staring at my clothes, although I know I am asking for it. Much happier to be looked in the face.

i think that kind of paradox is kinda inherent in rick's stuff. it's loud as a motherfucker but also trying to hide behind monocrome minimalism. probably ppl who buy rick, respond to that. i like stirring shit up but i also don't like too much attention. what to do, what to do...

Thank for the sharing. Glad there a french translation, my english is not fluent. I do not know much about the character, but I can say he has something mysterious, it's always a pleasure to read his interviews.
