Well this is basically what I expected, and those fur pieces are just...no.
I have to say, Thom Browne and Iris van Herpen are doing much better McQueen than Burton these days.
I am really digging that hand jewelry though.

I don't know. I think its much more convincing than her Masai warriors/Bee Keepers/Catholic Pilgrim Punks. Its darkly romantic, and in certain stages, exceptionally beautiful. But yes, all of the silhouettes are pretty repetive. A-line/baby doll/tiered/cinched at the waist. Its really missing solid tailoring but you can always find that in store. I rike this a rot.Life is a hiiighway

Agreed with both Ahimsa and Vanna. Her strongest yet, but still unimpressive.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

As has been said, it is Burton's strongest collection to date. I'm still not feeling her vision for McQueen. She over does it with the baroque and embroideries, and her style just seems to "Frou Frou" for lack of a better word. I miss the deeply dark, and hard romanticism of McQueen.
The staging was quite nice this season, but doesn't come close to the Showmanship of McQueen.merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.
