After going to the ROM and seeing her works in person, I have to say this is out of this world. The amount of work each garment goes through is insane. Technology, innovation and vision is seen in each garment, Iris is indeed in her own realm. This collection proves it, the lines and the geometry are so intriguing and at the same time she manages to capture the curves of the female body so well without losing the femininity. We hope that people will begin to see beyond the superficial surface of things and understand that there is far more to a design than just the way it looks on the outside.

"Behind the forms: wrapping around the body like a time-lapse motion, the ‘Frozen Falls’ gown and headpiece are made from chronophotographic lines of bird wing movements that are laser-cut from mylar and white cotton to then be heat-bonded to hundreds of layers of two-toned dyed blue organza."
