"Today, Sebastien Meunier, the head designer of Ann Demeulemeester announced that he is stepping down. The announcement came via his Instagram page.

Earlier this year rumors surfaced that Claudio Antonioli, of the eponymous boutique and the New Guards Group, the owners of brands such as Off-White and Marcelo Burlon, was in talks of buying the brand from its current CEO Ann Chapelle. According to an inside source, which asked to remain anonymous, the sale is now complete and that Meunierís departure is a result of the deal. The same source reported that the rest of the design team was let go along with Meunier.

It is unclear what the future holds for Haider Ackermann, another brand that is part of BVBA32, the parent company of Ann Demeulemeester."
