Any Margiela experts (or people with books) out there? I'm trying to find out what season this coat is from. It's the women's main line and MMM did several similar pieces where the details of jackets where pressed and outlined through a second layer of fabric.



I'm thinking it was around 2001 or 2002, but can't remember. Thanks.

Does margiela have any locations in China/Hong Kong? Unless you go to INK, it is quite rare to come across him.

You can find margiela almost everywhere in Hong Kong in many of the big department stores! Lane Crawford, Harvey Nicols, I.T., the list is endless!!!
I am also sure they have it at the I.T. in shanghai

fall-winter 2001-2002 according to the lookbook pictures i found in cream publication! hope that helps.

What did you think of the FW11 mens Margiela collection? I liked it a lot - but probably because a lot of it looks like it could have been pulled directly from own wardrobe. Nothing that exciting, but I bet I'll want a few things once I see the clothes in person.

I have to say, with or without Margiela, the last few years have been solid. But I wonder if it's because his menswear has become so framed, that all you expect is solid and that can easily be put together by a design team.
