All this exchange (peace everyone..) reminded me that I initially thought that having no bidding wars between members would have pretty much no impact because of the size of ebay's market but I now understand that the pool of specific bidders for say a size 2CDiem on ebay at a given time is so small that it's actually useful to call "dibs" on items. Yesterday I was wearing a Sacai cardigan that Buckwheat bought on Yoox but had to return because it was too small. It then showed up on ebay and was snatched by Coldrice, who didn't know about the sizing issue and had to get rid of it so sold it to me.

I love the little world interconnection we have with this buying/selling market, I think its great.

What I didn't know, was that posting something in good finds counted as calling "dibs" on it, I thought it was to advertise to people who were interested.

well now I know.

^ No, you were right the first time! Good finds are generally things that don't work for you but might interest someone else. But if you find something on ebay and want to call dibs, that's the place to do it.

^ that's entertaining and pretty crazy to hear! It's true that it's a pretty small community online and those that are online are quite avid especially about what they've chosen to buy.

Mike, are those n.d.c's? They look great and I really like the color of them. So I say yay!
