loving the hoodie. loving the v. keeps you plenty warm in 55 degrees which is as cold as i've worn it... has the same hood as the aviator, but a floppier feel to it which i prefer. pretty sure it was 1550.
what do you guys think of the merino wool coat? it seems like you could wear it with a thin sweater underneath but its not the heavy duty winter coat which i'm looking for...although the "throne" neck is unbelievable

philip- So you have the F/W hoodie? It does look nice and cozy; Is the color a blue-ish hue or more grey?

The double layer coat looks bad ass from the pics on A's site!

That double layer coat is so sick I nearly served one up. The only complaint I have on that piece is the way it sits between the shoulders below the nape. Granted, I'm judging strictly from pictures posted on Atelier's site, but for $3200 I need for it to look flawless.

Philip, I love the silhouette on the wool coat with the throne collar. That's a beautiful piece.

Cas, I'd pass on the hoodie. It looks great from the chest up, clean lines and the price is right, but it's cut so full through the body. Just MHO. [66]

Yea I agree, I'm definitely going to wait to try it on when I go to NY later this year. If it's not available in my size, then it wasn't meant to be. :D I definitely can't plunk down 1700 without seeing it and trying it on though.

Awesome, good find. The man looks so comfy in his own garb.

My thoughts exactly. Although, come to think of it - imagine what he looked like 20 years ago, and everything will probably fall in place.

    hey casius
sorry for the late reply wrote something around 3 weeks but things had crashed and was traveling blah blah
yes, i have it and its a beautiful dark grey. i also have the s/s 07 aviator that is very popular here. after wearing both around id say i prefer the F/W because the stiff shell is constricting and over long periods of time can be bothersome. maybe i haven't worn it enough. but they both have the same amazing hood design (world war I fighter pilot, star wars a-wing pilot?) which seals the deal with both everytime.

It sounds great Philip. I hope A has one when I get to NY later this year, I'd really like to try one on and see it in person. It looks so cozy and comfortable and might be a good alternative to a big coat, which I really don't need here in SoCal.

I stopped by The Archive in San Francisco yesterday - they have the accordion bag, the waist bag and a small wallet in black.

Apparently they received some belts - but they were all too small - so they returned them.

Man the long sac and the big bag are some beautiiiiful pieces. I may have to take the plunge and order one as I need a new bookbag. Anyone have a price point on either/both?

nycd, do you happen to know which version of the accordion bag they received? Does it have a flat rectangular flap or the irregular one? I'd love to get my hands on the rectangular bag or the messenger bag version of the ma+ accordion as seen above.... is it around $1500 or... uh... more?
