love these jeans, but i might as well get the invisible seam pants for cheaper. btw, the destroyed knit scarf is amazing. $650 for it though. the infinity scarf was also dope, however that was around $890 or something.
i haven't seen them in person yet so i can't say what's special about them. the main reason why they're $1k is because of the euro being so strong while the dollar is so weak. i'm particularly enamored with them because of the cut and fit. it's exactly what i what in a pair of jeans.
i thought they would be around $750 to $800 since the heavy cotton "overlock" pants were $700.
oh yeah, forgot about the rubber sole version [:$]
as for the jeans, hate to be an enabler here, but if you were willing to pay $800 for these and they are, in fact, your perfect jeans, it seems like you may as well go the extra $200 to kop. at the same time though, this is probably the exact logic these price hikes are contingent on, so maybe drawing the line is the right thing to do.

not feeling these at all...
and paired with the knit the overall appeal is further diminished
pip's persistent pessimism and the strange sweater stacking (the alliteration was too much to resist) aside, the jeans look great. however, 1000$ is a difficult mental threshold to overcome. yes, it's only 200$ more tha 800$, but also, it's $1000.
