Are there any general guidelines to follow when checking the authenticity of a Rick item (besides shoes)? Besides construction which a newcomer may find hard to distinguish; maybe product/color codes or the dotted/color of the printings on the tag

could you please be a little bit more specific? about the soles / toebox? i know this is not crepe soles, but are you sure there have never been dunks with this type of sole?

They were still using crepe soles/staples with early geobasket iterations, so I don't think any dunks had that type of sole, no. The toebox is just wrong if you compare to any other dunks.
And FWIW, a while back in your sale thread, the RO hooded bomber you had sold was suspicious as well. The DS label was definitely off, the picture being the wrong proportions and the lettering in a bad font. I was stuck with a fake one of these once before, and the one you'd had listed seemed to have the same faults as the fake.
I wouldn't have mentioned it, except now you're trying to get a legit check on some fake dunks, so there's some red flags going up for me and I'm questioning your motives here.
