I purchased a suede Rick Owens Intarsia from Plinth. Amazing deal and just wanted to double check the legitimacy. It feels amazing, fits like any Rick jacket would, etc. Brass zippered pockets (like a lot of Plinth stuff, same manufacturer), Rick Owens sewn in black thread on the bottom left of the jacket. Nothing really stands out as fake, but I wanted to be sure as I can return it (eBay seller, but I dealt with her locally as we both live in Boston).

Are you serious? I cannot understand this kind of legit checks, I mean, if you are really that blind to the obvious clues you can learn about the subject in this same thread, there are a lot of information in this forum.

I went through 10 pages checking for Plinth stuff/real vs fake RO leathers hence why I said 99.9999% sure it was legit. But NWT for $600 it was an unbelievable deal, so I figured FUCK IT, why not make a post that will infuriate everyone.

In general the season does not matter. The hints josecc was referring to apply to every season and almost to all pieces of clothing (dotted tag is one of them, if you search the thread from the beginning you will find others too)

You are completely right Ian+, sorry Tolleyalways. And $600 for that suede jacket (given the size) is not crazy at all, probably the guy got it in the past sales, didn't fit him and he is selling it with a lost. Anyway, that jacket looks pretty legit, if fits and you like it keep it.

PLAY is far and away the most knocked-off line of CDG for obvious reasons, i can't really tell from those pictures if these are fakes though
